European Test Services (ETS) B.V. – an AIRBUS and IABG joint venture – serves as the driving force behind the operations and maintenance of the prestigious European Space Agency (ESA) test centre, located at Noordwijk aan Zee in the Netherlands. We are seeking a highly skilled Test Floor Supervisor & General Support Technician to support spacecraft testing activities within a high-tech test centre environment. The role combines technical expertise, operational coordination, and leadership to ensure smooth execution of test campaigns and infrastructure readiness.

Tätigkeit:
|

Monitoring, maintenance and operation of test floor infrastructure, including access equipment (cherry pickers, scaffolds, stairs), handling and lifting equipment (forklifts, air pallets), hoisting equipment (overhead cranes and auxiliary devices), cleanroom monitoring systems and communication systems (e.g. intercoms)

Troubleshooting and resolution of technical and operational issues related to infrastructure and equipment

Monitoring and coordination of building management systems in close collaboration with facility management, including HVAC, power supply, compressed air, process cooling water, large doors, attic and basement areas

Administration of the test centre warehouse, including preparation and management of purchase requests as well as ensuring the availability of tools, materials, and spare parts

Support and supervision of internal test centre logistics and storage operations

Coordinate daily activities between infrastructure engineers, facility management contractors, the ETS cleaning team, and local support departments.

Enforcement and continuous monitoring of compliance with quality standards, contamination control, safety regulations, and security requirements

Voraussetzungen:
|

Senior Technical Secondary Education (MBO) or Bachelor (HBO)

Fluent in the English and the Dutch language, both written and spoken

Familiarity with access, lifting and handling equipment, cranes, air monitoring systems and intercom systems

Experience with cranes, cherry pickers, and coordination of handling, lifting, hoisting and transport activities

Ability to perform tasks independently according to the applicable processes and requirements

Willingness to work flexible hours during critical test phases

Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
