Completed studies in environmental sciences or geosciences preferably with background in remote sensing; desirable: at least 3 years of work experience

Practical experience in image analysis and raster data processing as well as geoprocessing including relevant software packages such as ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, ERDAS Imagine, GDAL, R or eCognition

Relevant experience with TensorFlow, Google Earth Engine, Snap-Toolboxes or FME desirable

Programming knowledge desirable, preferably with Python

Broad knowledge of remote sensing data and its processing techniques

Knowledge of worldwide remote sensing programs and networks

Strong analytical skills, especially in the field of statistics

Willingness to familiarise oneself with new subject areas

Very good knowledge of English and German (C1); further language skills (e.g. French, Spanish) advantageous
